With our commitment to provide high end "turn-key" packaging solutions, Packaging Specialists Inc., makes ongoing investments and upgrades in our Manufacturing and Engineering equipment. In October 2008 PSI purchased the first Cisco 200 Ton Foam Die Cutter west of the Mississippi River.
The Cisco 200 Ton Foam Die Cutter boasts the largest machine bed available anywhere, measuring a full 63 by 41 inches. With an effective cutting area of 57 inches wide by 39 inches deep Packaging Specialists can now offer higher volume runs and quick turn-a-round while maintaining consistency in accuracy.
With cost of packaging being an important factor, it’s good to know that the Cisco Foam Die Cutter can cycle it’s head in just 5 seconds. That’s 3 times as fast as any other die cutter, and all this, with an amazingly powerful cutting force of 200 Tons.
